A. $150.00 reserves the date.

Q. When will I need to pay the balance for my wedding package?
A. I will need the balance 1 week before the wedding date.

Q. Is the down payment refundable if we change the wedding date or cancel our wedding?
A. Yes, you will receive the down payment with in 2 weeks of your cancellation.

Q. You have several photographic packages to pick from….I am not sure which one I will need?
A. Ask me, we can discuss the end objective or what package will best fit your needs.

Q. Do you shoot digital or film?
A. I can shoot which any one you would like. I have high end film and digital cameras.

Q. Which is the best for my wedding, Digital or Film?
A. This is an ongoing debate. I have read several articles and did some testing. Please call and we can discuss further.

Q. What is your “style” of photography?
A. I incorporate various styles of photography. I usually shoot traditional portraits of the bride before the ceremony. During the ceremony, I take photojournalistic photos of the bride coming down the aisle as well as the ceremony. After the ceremony I take posed traditional pictures at the church alter of the bride groom, wedding party, and families. On location it is a mix, mostly photojournalistic pictures and some traditional shots. I will always ask if you want some fun shots. At the ceremony I shoot mainly photojournalistic pictures. You are the customer so all this will be discussed.

Q. Do we have to go through you for enlargements or duplicate reprints?
A. NO! Since you are given the negatives you my go anyplace for reprints. I will direct you to the same place I get my pictures done. I ask that you use professional places where you have your pictures reprinted or enlarged. I will take care of any reprints or enlargements for a small fee if you prefer me to do it. For digital photography your photos will be displayed on line for you to order.

Q. How many pictures do you take?
A. Depends on the package you buy. There is no want for film and I pose people very fast, so I will shoot pictures as fast as you can pose. The number of photos in part depends on you. That is why I suggest location shots after the ceremony and before the reception. These are usually are done in parks, by lakes, or other scenic areas. If given enough time and different locations I have shot up to 700 photos.

Q. How will I know or what do I look for when looking for an area for location shots?
A. Ask me, we can discuss that at any time. Usually areas that have lakes or ponds are good for reflection pictures. Parks are the most common because they usually have flowers in bloom, trees and flowers are rather good backdrops. If you decide on a location be sure you secure permits for the area if need be. I have taken location pictures at a variety of different locations, bars, restaurants, houses, cemeteries to name a few.

Q. What if I would like you to take a picture of me (us) using a certain pose, or if I need a picture of a certain friend or relative?
A. Just let me know. I take many posed pictures of the bride and groom, wedding party, parents and siblings. However if you need a certain pose you found in a fashion magazine or a picture of someone special, bring it to my attention. I also buy bridal magazines to look at the latest fashion poses.

Q. What if we decide on an outside area for our location shots and there is bad weather?
A. Usually, we can work around the bad weather. If the bad weather exists, I have portable studio lighting and a backdrop that we can set up at the reception to use.

Q. What about your equipment? Is it in good condition? What happens if you should drop, break or misplace a lens or camera at the wedding?
A. I only use new Nikon cameras and lenses. I never broke or misplaced a camera or lens. If something like this would happen, I carry redundant cameras, lenses, and flash equipment.

Q. How far do you travel? Do you charge extra for areas outside your intended area?
A. I travel to most parts of Wisconsin and northern Illinois. I try to incorporate vacation time for myself if your wedding is a longer drive than usual from the Milwaukee area.
